    Please keep in mind that persons providing these resources may not be fingerprinted and background-checked the way teachers are.  So, please ensure that you or another adult family member supervises ALL interactions (in person or virtual) with any tutors that may be utilized.  Also, BUSD and I are not endorsing any of these resources, but are simply sharing available local resources with you.  As with any other product or service, it is up to you, the consumer, to determine if the services offered fit your needs.

    Brentwood Library:  Free in-person tutoring Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-6 pm in core subjects.  For more information call (925) 516-5290.

    Local High School Students:  These students tutor in math only and charge $17 an hour for their services. Click on the link below for a list of tutors.

    HelpNow:  A new initiative from the state offering free online tutoring 24/7 for every Californian. To learn more about HelpNow click on the link below.  This now can be accessed through the public library as well!
